Updates on our TriFun Experience.
Time sure flies when you have a TriFun.
It has been a whirlwind of a time for the past few months.
We have our Trifun and have logged 4,000 miles on it so far.
Some quick notes:
We LOVE our TriFun!
Top speed so far: 75 Miles per Hour verified on my TomTom GPS.
Largest haul: New Washing Machine from Lowes. Easy
to load on the side of the bed. It took us 20 extra minutes to
answer questions from everyone coming up to the vehicle while
loading the washer. Heavy suspension makes the vehicle ride
better with a load in the back. Bed has a load capacity of about
1000 pounds! Calculated from the base vehicle weight to the
GVW.
We went to Bike Night in Cape Coral and showed hundreds of bikers
our cool vehicle. Lifted the bed (with the gas struts) up and
down dozens of time to show the easy access to the engine and trans.
We went to a bike and old car show at a local business and had to
enter the TriFun to be able to park with the rest of the vehicles.
WE WON FIRST PLACE IN THE STOCK CATAGORY and now have our first
trophy.
We had our first service done on the engine and trans. Local
show had no trouble lifting it on the hoist and said it was one of
the easiest to service they had seen.
Longest trip so far: 400 miles in one day! Great trip
through central Florida. The vehicle rides great at 55 to 60
mph but mileage is lower due to the wind resistance. Mileage
seems to be the best at 45 miles per hour before you start pushing
lots of air.
